The Machine
Bert Kreischer, often referred to as “The Machine ” is a comedian who is currently on a world tour. Saturday March 25, 2023 he made an appearance at the Peoria Civic Center to put on an incredible show. The show was said to set record attendance, and the seats were packed. The show offered an absurd amount of new content that Bert described as never being told before. The phrase “secret time” was uttered an absurd amount of times throughout all of the stories that Bert told, and he was sure to include all the parts that were cut from some of his aired stand-up pieces featured on Netflix.
The show featured three opener comedians, which had the crowd rolling before Bert even made an appearance. These openers included: Mathew Broussard, Pete Lee, and Mark Smalls. When Bert came on stage, he began by chugging a 20oz beer and throwing his shirt off. He shared his countless “secret time” stories as well as some classics requested by the audience. Bert told stories about his experiences with taking a “shower” with Snoop Dogg, his daughter’s Mexico flag retainer, and an escape room experience his family will never forget. These were only a few of the many stories Bert told. While on stage Bert even video called his daughter to confirm that his stories were real. Towards the end of the show Bert had the crowd join in the singing of both “God Bless America” and “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Before it was all said and done Bert would not let his fans leave without telling his famous story called “The Machine.”
As well as many of his most recent acts some of his older stand-up acts were also featured. A fan favorite is Bert’s stand-up routine called Secret Time. This act shows Bert telling some of his more personal stories. One of the stories he tells is called The Machine. This story took place when Bert was attending college at Florida State. When told he would be given a minor if he visited Russia through his Russian foreign language class, he could not refuse the offer. His class was told numerous times not to make any form of communication with the Mafia while there, but Bert could not resist. Before long Bert took on the title “The Machine” and was a hit with all the different mafia gangs. Ultimately the story led to Bert robbing the train his fellow students were on with the mafia, while at the same time learning the Russian language for the first time ever while doing it. The story was such a hit that enough people decided it needed to be made into a movie. The Machine is scheduled for May 26, 2023. Since the story was first told it has blown up on social media everywhere, and it is uncontestably how Bert got his name in the world of stand-up. The story has also been proven as true, and several of his old classmates remember being robbed by Bert and the mafia while on the trip.
While an interview with the machine himself was sadly not possible, one student at Eureka College, Matthew Crabtree, was interviewed and asked to give their own opinion on “The Machine.” The explained that they had previously seen clips of Bert, yet they had never seen his most well-known stand-up act, The Machine. “I thought it was really good, but not what I was expecting,” Matthew said after watching his most popular act. They explained that the story unraveled into a much larger story than what they originally expected. This continuous unraveling led to the comedic value of the act. When asked what their favorite part was, Matthew quickly responded with the ending of the act where the policeman said, “Tonight you party with us!” Matthew said that they would definitely be checking out more of Bert’s material and is also interested in his upcoming film about the story. When asked if they had any other thoughts Matthew said, “That was a good watch.”
Bert can be found on all social media sites. He has three stand-up acts available on Netflix: Hey Big Boy, Secret Time, and Razzle Dazzle. Bert also has a podcast called 2 Bears 1 Cave. It is almost a guarantee that after watching Bert in any of these forms, you will not be able to stop laughing!
